In memoriam: Gus Dudgeon

Andy: As soon as he got out of his big car, I knew he was wrong, but by that time it was difficult to go back.

Colin: Gus dressed very loudly, didn’t he?

Andy: He should come with a volume control on his chest.

Colin: I remember we had to meet him at this pub near our place and he pulled up in this huge car with GUS 92 on his number plate. There was this huge bloody thing parked up our lane and he got out all in black and white, like some villain from Batman. I was looking at him from the pub and thinking: Will I ever be able to hold my head up in the village again?
